As usual a very insightful analysis of the market. There is also an interesting multimedia graphic in today's (Oct 12th 2008) New York Times (the online version of course) which compare's all the bear markets going back to 1929. I think you will find this interesting.

That is an excellent graphic; the sort of analysis that W.D. Gann himself would have done (there are things like this in his courses). I will definitely have to do some analysis of this nature myself.
